Anyone tried the bfg at's on 14" rim?

Was just wondering if anyone had tried out these bfg at's for a 14" rim?
They look they would be good for hard pack trails or maybe limited street use

Re: Anyone tried the bfg at's on 14" rim?

Never on a UTV.
The big problem I have had with BFG's, especially the AT's, is the weak side wall.

I once did a u turn on a dirt road (slightly rutted) Once stopped, I found my tire going flat with a 10mm combination wrench sticking out of the side wall.
It was actually punctured by the boxed end.

We were sponsored by BFG & had the AT's on all our chase trucks.
Good for the street but not so good off road.

I haven't the foggiest Idea how that would translate to the UTV use.

But, I thought I'd just share a little.

Re: Anyone tried the bfg at's on 14" rim?

We have seen the 27x8.50R-14 General Grabber AT2's used on some UTV's .

Ratings, reviews and specifications for General Grabber AT2 Studdable tires

There are a few guys that have also gone to a 15 inch wheel. We have seen them used a 215/75R-15 BFG Mud Terrain KM2.

Hope this helps.
