Re: Motor Mounts?

There is a set for sale on e-bay under Redline Revolt parts. They will fit but if you are going to run the alternator you will have to rebuild a mount for that.

Re: Motor Mounts?

Are you building a flyer? May not be a redline but it will have the heart of one. Post some pics of your build. I would like to see it.

Re: Motor Mounts?

Thanks Pilot
I grabbed them, didn't see them as I searched Riot, as I thought the Revolt was only the 800, big help

Sand...
Yep, will do. Sadly live in a area unfreindly to ATV/UTV, even though lots of sand and beaches

finding out that the Polaris version of the Weber, doesn't use the 2 pc crank, that takes the flywheel, so next obstacle is mating to a coupler

What does the Redline use, flywheel to gearbox?

The FST engine doesn't have a bolt on hub on the end of the crank. The Redline and the Polaris watercraft engines use a 6 bolt hub on the end of the crank. The Primary clutch for the belt drive goes on our crank hub to drive the secondary clutch on our gearbox. The Redline and watercraft have a flywheel with a stator on the other end of the crank. The FST uses a hub and alternator set up.

Re: Motor Mounts?

Still in early R&D, but may have found a way to use the Polaris crank, thru the use of a Coupling

Re: Motor Mounts?

Are you going to race that thing? I have seen some cool vids on youtube of them racing a short coarse. They move along pretty quick.
Looks like alot of fun.

Re: Motor Mounts?

Not this one
Most craft that are raced have to be lightweight for "hump" purposes [quick get up out of the water and go] and use the screamin/smokin ultralight engines

This one is more of the commercial/rescue type craft and is better suited for rough surf and terrain
