2007 GNCC Narrowed Revolt Woods Racer
I listed my Revolt on Ebay with the following details. Going back to ATVing. Ebay Item number: 181121934418
My friend bought a new Outlander 1000 and kept his old 800 for me to ride.
Redline Revolt 2007 single seat, long travel, UTV, Buggy somewhat like current RZR-S or 1990 Honda Pilot.
I bought it from HMF Exhaust/Motorsports in Cleveland after they were commissioned by Redline to narrow it and performance modify it for GNCC racing.Hans Owner of HMF raced it once which can be seen on youtube. GNCC powerline park Redline race. HMF narrowed it to 59 inches buy rebuilding front a-arms and fabricating new beefier rear trailing arms.
HMF also added custom shorter Gorilla rear axles.
HMF also built a custom exhaust manifold and muffler system, along with stainless intake/filter system and added their fuel management controller. HMF also added a custom wrap.
Since I bought it I:
Added a door to enter it without compromising its structural integrity. $100
Bought Fireball Billet hubs $960
Replaced most of the Heim joints with premium FK rod ends $400
Added steering quickener beefier U-Joint and Unisteer Electric Power steering. Test mule discount $1200 value.
Replaced stock steering rack with same unit Tatum puts in their 30K sand rails $360
Steering is now an effortless 3/4 turn lock to lock with throttle on the F1/Pilot style steering wheel.
Separated braking system with Pilot hand lever master cylinder on rear brakes and stock master cylinder on front brakes $300
No foot pedals to cramp legroom which is major pain with stock Revolt especially for taller drivers.
DWT beadlocks and Holeshot ATR's for short course racing $800
Stock RZR-S alloy wheels with 6ply Bighorns rear and 8ply Bajacross front for trail riding $750
Added 700xx rear swaybar so it corners flat and will do donuts without fear of rollover.
Rebuilt the Fox nitrogen shocks and dialed them in for comfort. About 14 inches travel front and rear with it narrowed.
Added vents for airbox and transmission along with Redline shockproof gear oil in trans and Redline synthetic in Weber Motor.
The only weak point in these buggies is that the factory transmission pumps the oil out the vent, when hot, thus compromising the longevity of the transmission. This one I bought with 92 miles and still most of the oil in the tranny. All the changes converted this from a ill handling, tiring pig to a pleasure to drive without getting beat up or the usual front end push.
Has 448 miles now and everything works as it should. No expense was spared in improvements to make this more reliable and fun. Over 3300 hundred in parts and countless hours of labor invested.
This unit is trail, short course or GNCC ready at your choice. I raced it short course 3 times near Pittsburgh.
Picture #4 is how it looked when I bought it.
No Reserve. New in box tranny will be available for an extra grand to the winner of this auction.
Will respond quickly to any questions. Thanks/Brian
