Re: My Tow Pig

what is your overall length and do you have a class A license? I like your set up. I'm thinking of a DPF delete also. What your opinion on it?

Re: My Tow Pig

My set up is 83'2" over all. In Wyoming a Class A is not required but its possible once you cross state lines it could be a different story. Ive never been stopped so I have no experience there. I read that to be legal pulling doubles that the truck and first trailer must be attached by 5th wheel its considered a secure attachment. A goose neck is not, although I've seen many of those bulling doubles as well.

The delete kit is way worth it i get around 12-14 pulling my set up at highway speeds 65 hwy and 75 interstate. unloaded I average around 24-27 my best was in north dakota where the speed limit is 55 and its flat I averaged 32 over a 500 mile trip. I currently have 78,882 miles on the truck and all but maybe 8,000 have been with the spartan tuner and dpf delete kit.

Re: My Tow Pig

Different states have different regs... you can't tow doubles in Oregon.
I think if you are legal in the state you are registered, you can tow doubles into Oregon though...

Re: My Tow Pig

Here in MI you can pull doubles (5th wheel + trailer) as long as it's not over 65'. No additional license required. You can also have passengers in the 5th wheel as long as they comply with seat belt laws...ie: no kids running around...
