binding steering

O.K. guys. I have been trying to figure out why my steering is tight when I turn right. When I put the buggy at full droop the steering binds about half way through steering motion from center to full turn right the steering binds and then lifts the front suspension about 2". Turning left the steering is smooth through the whole motion. I have moved the geometry all over and nothing seems to even start to make a difference. I am lost. I can't get the vid loaded. So any help would be appreciated. I will work on the video.
Hey we got it and it only took 2 freakin hours to figure out.

Lightbulb Re: binding steering

Is the spindle mount for the lower a arm rubbing on the a arm as you turn it to the right? If that is the case, some clearance grinding or misalignment washer may be in order. this has been a problem with some cars.

I contacted Jared at Redline and told him I thought the a-arms may have been welded a little off. He wants me to switch the lower a-arms from side to side and see if it follows. I think the lower ball joint socket is welded a little out of skew. If it follows he will send me a new a-arm. In my opinion I should not have to be shimming and clearance grinding on a $14,000.00 machine. I had to extend my upper back heim joint out about 8-10 threads to minimize the binding. Now I am concerned about the heim breaking when it is shocked at speed. Jared said they will stand behind it and correct it for me. That is good to hear. I will keep you all posted as I move forward. Where do you put the misalignment washers?
