Re: Walker Evans Racing is selling Revolt Shocks

Why do all the aftermarket shocks for the Revolt have coil overs?? Are they better?? Why dont they come stock with coil overs like on the Riot??

Re: Walker Evans Racing is selling Revolt Shocks

Coil overs are more adjustable with spring rates and also most have adjustable rebound and compression. The reason the Revolt and standard Riot dont come with air shocks is price. Coil overs are $300- 900 higher per shock. Also you really need to have coil overs designed for what you want them to do. desert needs to be soft but ride high for ground clearance, Short course needs to be stiff and low for cornering. You need multiole springs if you are planning on racing different series or going from sand to desert. The air shocks you just add or lower the pressure. Coil overs overall are better but add more weight and more$$$$$

Thank you Red Rock powersports, Harmon Racing Cells, Blackmore Sign's and T's, Psychoholic Racing, Lucas Oil Products and 777 Race Cars.
