If you are buying or replacing Heim Joints, I would not recommend FK. It took a hard hit, but shouldn't have broken. It was its first time out on the dunes, since installed.

Is that the tierod end at the knuckle?


2007 HMF customized Revolt (exhaust, fuel controller, wrap, bumpers and narrowed suspension for GNCC racing).
Full hand controls, separate braking, DWT beadlocks, 2:1 steering quickener,
Fireball Billet hubs, Holeshot ATR's and Unisteer electric power steering, swaybars and Tatum rack.

This is the rodend from the steering arm to the spindle on the right side.

I had a similar failure (OEM not FK) while racing so I did the poor mans double shear.
When/if it fails now it won't come apart.
