Re: Glen Helen Short Course Rd#2

thanks guys... drove back home really happy this time....

so here's is the shake down from my point of view.... first heat:
- Jeffpec was kicking butt trough out the first heat, not sure what place he was in, but he was going crazy fast! but unfortunately he broke a shaft from a rear shock.
-I was battling for a while with Jeff (other Jeff) it was really fun, and holded 1st place for a while, but my motor started acting up. not knowing what it was, I pulled off the track fearing that if I keep going I would damage it worst......results (I think):

1-Jeff
2-Jerry
3-JOse
4-Jeffpec
(funny all names star with a J)

Before the second heat I found out that what was causing the problem was a freaking spark plug connection that was not in all the way, so I resolved that issue and was able to race again. Jeffpec strapped on his stock rear shocks an was able to continue racing also... Results:

1-Jose
2-yellow kart
3-Jeffpec
4-Jeff
5-Jerry

I got some video to follow, I should post it up in the next couple days... (the problem like always... have to find the camera cables)...

man, to be honest, that kart was rocking out there... it was killing us on the turns....From my point of view, this was a very important race (besides the fact I won.... LOL) in regards to comparisons on the kart and the race rhino versus the revolt.....

Its important to point out that even tough it was being driven by a 14 year old boy, the kart wasn't your usual little kids beginners kart. It had a 450 motorcycle engine with gears (no CVT).... That kid was rocking out there!! he could get all over the course were he wanted to be in the turns... the kart also had the speed.... The only down side that I could see was that he had to slow down on the table top/ drop off jump... (I have video demonstrating the differences on the kart going of that jump..... maybe the smaller shocks was affecting it, or they needed to be dialed in or something)... but over-all the kart works really good on a short course track, but I think the revolt would triumph over it on the desert....

my two cents...
