You need to get ahold of "Drive it like you stole it" I mean the one and only Ronny "The Bear" Awtry. He goes by rrawtry on the forum. Rumor has it he races in a tux and has the one of those Yellow Roses you guys claim in his lapel . He races a Riot down there and might be able to steer you in the right direction. Good Luck!!

I believe I know who you are talking about. He races in the UTV races around here (Houston, TX). I asked if I could come out and play and they told me, NO! I was told it is a SxS series only.

Re: Revolt Racing in TEXAS

PM (rrawtry) and talk to him he might have some info on where you get into a race where they are racing pilots etc... you might have to come west and hook up with Damon and Jay over in AZ. Get ahold of Jerry (xmotocr) he has an inside scoop on racing the Revolts. He is always trying to gather guys that own Revolts to race with him. I think Jerry needs to build a track "and they will come" just like in the movie Field of Dreams. Hang tight though these machines are getting more popular everyday. We just need to sell a few more down you way to guys and gals with an interest in racing.

Re: Revolt Racing in TEXAS

Unfortunately, the Pilot doesn't seem to have caught on here and we I've never seen a single seater in person. What you may wanna check on is what the cross country dudes are up to. Anyway, here's a list of racing leagues etc here in Texas, maybe it can help you find your way. I do know that the SXS leagues don't consider the single seaters fair due to the advantage of weight savings....

Re: Revolt Racing in TEXAS

rrwaty,
Thanks for the help, but where is the list. I will start calling around to see if anyone will let me race with the Revolt. Hows that Riot doing for you in the series round Houston? Have you modded it in any way? Your the first one that I have heard talk about the weight problem. It is light weight but it isn't 4WD. This is a clear disadvantage when cornering and jumping on short tracks. Plus a modded RZR will keep up no problem with the Revolt and it has 4WD. That's why I am curious at how your Riot is doing. With the added weight and wheel base you will corner better than the Revolt but not as good as the RZR and Rhino. Also, how do you do if the jump is right out of the corner with little run up, this again is where 4WD is going to help out a lot. Anyway, I hope your doing well in the series.
