Cannot wait for next year.

Winter is long and cold in Western NY. Got big plans for next years short course racing near Pittsburgh, at Rolling W Ranch click here for website:Home Page
I know I will be more competitive next year. Just ordered DWT Diablo beadlocks to widen my stance. I'm 54" front and 57" inch rear now with stock RZR-S wheels.
These new wheels will put me at 60 front and 59 rear without spacers.
Going to mount a set of 25" Holeshot ACT's on them. They are left over from my Can-Am Renegade X.
I looked into alot of 23 and 24 inch tires and then remembered these in my garage which are actually barely over 24 inch.
Also going to add a rear swaybar and looking at some shock tuning. Somehow someway I will get this pig to corner better!!!
Found a deal on these cheap cast Chinese made DWT beadlocks 4+3 fronts and 2+5 rears $450 delivered from Benchmark (supporting vendor on RZRForums)
Sorry Mike didn't want to spend alot on OMF's or Hipers

Re: Cannot wait for next year.

SWAY BAR!!!!!! Spend that money first. Trust me it is like a night and day difference in cornering. I was worried about jumping with mine but put it through a good test at Little Sahara and it did fine. It does make for a little rougher ride in woops but not too bad.

Re: Cannot wait for next year.

Sandracer, I tried to pm you about a sway bar but couldn't add pics.
Called and left a message for John @ 777 about a sway bar.
My narrowed Revolt has alot tighter tolerances in the area for the sway bar mounts. Took some measurements and pics.
Please tell me what you think. I think there is just enough room left to squeeze it in there.
The cross tube is right between gorilla and axle on the graphic which is 15 inches ahead of the shock mount.
Here are some pics:

Re: Cannot wait for next year.

I will check and see if I can tell you anything. I am at family functions this weekend. I forgot you are narrow. It looks to be tight for sure. John is a busy guy with racing. And they have really moved up in the racing world in different classes now I believe. I will send you a pm this week sometime.

Re: Cannot wait for next year.

Sandracer, I spoke with John at length friday nite after he got rained out racing. Sent him more pics. I think if he can cut the angle on the aluminum arm to 90 degrees it will fit in the tight space.

if below was 90 degrees then it would probably work for me

stock picture sandracers. I could mount upper heim inboard of aluminum arm to increase clearance

Re: Cannot wait for next year.

That was going to be my suggestion. I am not sure what the angle is that he cuts in them. Looks like 45 or less. If you tell him how much clearance you have he should be able to do it. The angle should be cut so the sway bar matches the angle on the trailing arms.

Re: Cannot wait for next year.

The first ones he made were for a regular Revolt, which is narrower than the XL. John had me measure certain point from the frame to the trailing arm so he could do the math and figure out how to make it fit. I would assume he will need the same from you. I can not remember where he had me measure though. Good luck. I am sure he will work it out for you. I hope it helps you as much as it did me. I wonder how much being narrower is affecting the turning ability with the softer suspension?
