Twisted Stitch seats

Hey, has anybody put one in a Revolt yet? I know Bear has put them in his Riot.

Re: Twisted Stitch seats

I had the same question. Since it is taller and wider up top. How much airflow to the radiator would it block. Also the stock seat isnt always easy to remove so would a bigger seat fit??.. They should bring one to Glen Helen this weekend to see. We will have quite a few revolts there.

Re: Twisted Stitch seats

I was looking at the TS-1. Looks like it would really hold the driver in place.

Re: Twisted Stitch seats

We test fit a twisted stitch seat in a revolt , set fits perfect and better yet it's build a lot stronger than the stock seat.

Re: Twisted Stitch seats

Last summer I noticed I was sitting a little lower in the car. I learned about Ron Awtry having trouble with his seat so I checked mine and sure enough mine was ripped also. I was planning on replacing with a Twisted Stich but it was down a ways on my list of things to get. Last weekend during the race the four tabs welded to the seat frame broke and the seat fell back against the bar in front of the engine.( this is an XL) I had to drive most of the race ( 1 hr 30 min ) holding on to the steering wheel to keep from rolling around, all the while sitting on the frame rails of the car. Not very comfy. So check the welds on the seat itself for cracks! The front tabs actually tore away from the round tube which caused the rear tabs to break.
Mike, are you a Twisted Stich dealer?

Re: Twisted Stitch seats

Do you sit any higher in this seat? I really miss being able to see out like in my old rhino. I know I will not ever be that high in the revolt but it would be nicer to see down over the hood a little better dropping into a bowl.
