I was also thinking on installing one in my atv, same problem how to power it up? Some said to add another batt and upgrade the charging unit w/c will be too pricey.

That is one great product for its price, surely it will help in extinguishing fire and protect your vehicle. Best to mount it nearest to the driver for easy access.

It could be the charging unit that is the culprit. I agree hook up a volt meter and do a load test to know if the battery is getting charged.

I totally bigger fan will surely help cool faster your engine, but the challenge will be on fitting the new assembly, also if you can get a low temp thermostat that would be more helpful.
