Re: What helmet do U recomend?

I use the RCI SA helmet. It meets all the safety ratings required and is usually around $200. I used to run a Simpson Voyager which is also a nice Helmet and affordable. As long as it has the Snell SA-05 or newer you are good. That meens it has passed all the tests for racing.

Thank you Red Rock powersports, Harmon Racing Cells, Blackmore Sign's and T's, Psychoholic Racing, Lucas Oil Products and 777 Race Cars.

Re: What helmet do U recomend?

there are many choices based on the trust of brand, from my side i would recommend you to go for Bell Helmets, we have been dealing provide high quality of ranges of motorcycle accessories based in california. i would also like to share some related info on helmets that i have, as we all know for a fact that helmets are made in order to use as safety gear while driving or riding in a motorcycle. It is so important to use because the safety of any riders depend as well in its kind of helmets to wear. That is why, it is necessary that one’s helmet is well made and with high quality to trust, so that it can assure of its best kind of use, most especially during the times of difficulties and accidents. We cannot know what will happen next while you are riding in your motorcycle that is why, it is much better to always prepared and safe.
Life is too short to live about, that is why, it is important that you give the best that you can while living and you give the most care that you can, most especially if you are driving and riding on your motorcycle in almost every day of your lives. Thus, the use of motorcycle helmets is a necessary thing to have and to wear about.
In this matter, there are so many different kinds of helmets that are made in order to choose from. And those helmets are made in order to serve as a gear for safety purposes.
One of the recommended brands today is the arai helmets that is said to be one of the best that is just right to the needs of the many. It is in the industry of motorcycle for over years from now and still exists since we all know that this is really one of the best right now.
Another highly recommended kind of helmet is the use of scorpion helmets that has been trusted and reliable as well to trust.

So, why settle for anything else right now, when you know that you can have only the best that is just right for your needs. Now is the best time to choose the right one that you think is just fit to your need.

I like my full face shoei I ride a lot in the mountains and there is a lot of dust with the face shield down I can breath great and keep the dust intake low
you can get a good deal on a slight used helmet on ebay or buy a last years model that is new I think that full face is the way to go it will protect you from just about everything flying at you

Re: What helmet do U recomend?

I currently have a Shoei and find it to be very comfortable and a very high quality helmet. I had an Arai at one time also and it was very comfortable and high quality as well. I have also had budget helmets (HJC & lower end Bell). I can tell you you get what you pay for on the comfort side of things. Keep in mind you only have one noodle and it is worth protecting.

I did save myself $150 on my Shoei by going with a solid color vs. graphics. Graphics are cool but were not worth the extra $150 for me to justify "cool".

The best money I have spent is for a neck gaurd. Helmets are number one for sure, but a good neck gaurd will keep your neck from getting sore, and your melon from flopping around

Re: What helmet do U recomend?

A $100.00 helmet for a $100.00 head.

Buy quality & you buy less often & you will be confident that it will do it's job.

"Lesser" priced helmets (as long as they are snell approved & not just DOT) will do there job as well. just not last as long with frequent use.
Materials & workmanship are not as highly considered with these helmets.

But... You can get great deals on higher priced helmets Like a Shoei RF1000 if you look hard enough. I have seen a nice grapic Shoei RF-1000 Camber Graphic Helmets - Closeout Competition Accessories
Helmet going for 99.00 (reg 475.00) as long as you have the right sized head & don't mind an older model.
That is, if you are looking for a full face helmet.

I have used this helmet for 5 yrs. every day, & I love it.

keep in mind when choosing a helmet for off road that weight is an issue to consider. A nice light helmet will be a blessing after a long day of riding.

Also when racing in dusty conditions, a sealed full face helmet with a Parker pumper, will benefit you greatly.

There are many options & "Favorites" to choose from. Open or Full or Moto cross style.
Find one that fits properly, gives a lot of peripheral vision, vents well, SNELL Approved(Meets or exceeds SNELL SA2005) & will work for "YOU"
Test fit & try on as many as you can.
Then choose the Helmet to buy. Don't let price be the first deciding factor.

Once you find the helmet you want, Then.... go hunt for the best deal on it.
