How a suspension should work

This buggy I have seen in a few vids but this is the sickest of them all. This suspension is set up sooo sweetly. It is one sweet ride and obviously very well engineered and built.

Re: How a suspension should work

That is a good setup for high jumping. Any fast cycling will put you on your lid.
He really shouldn't get into that kind of dampening until the last part of his travel.

Here is a great video with a fantastic suspension setup.
It's just in a truck instead of a buggy.

Re: How a suspension should work

Wow Mikey, I had watch that about 4 times. Great video. Makes want to drive like a wildman. It had all the important elements, drifting, 360 and smoke, speed, high jumping in style, and of coarse a hot chick and the "dirty girl". Gotta have the dirty girl to make the ride complete. Thanks for posting it.

Re: How a suspension should work

I have watched all of his videos many times. This guy is from Sweden and custom built the buggy. It is powered for a Honda 929R motor. At some point during one of his winter rebuilds he completely machines his own custom heavy duty shock bodies and towers due to completely destroying the shocks he was using. You can search all of his videos on his channel: monsterair2

Check this video out of his reconstruction:
