Riot rear suspension video

Just for fun Messing with camera mount locations and wondered what my suspension was doing back there...

The sun angle was wreaking havoc on my camera, but interesting to watch.

Re: Riot rear suspension video

How did you get the GPS with speed, altititude, track aligned with the video? Does your camera have a GPS as well??? I would love to figure out how to do that!

Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.......who's bringing the chips?

Re: Riot rear suspension video

That was cool. I like suspensions.

You definitely wont have to worry about shock temps. LOL

That was some smooth sand you were running on. Or, your shocks are way stiff.

Was it as smooth as it looked?

You never fully bottomed, close. But no crushing hit on the bumper.

Well done. Do some more! But.. Next time drive the other way. LOL

Re: Riot rear suspension video

My rear shocks have the pre-load cranked up real high - otherwise the Riot will slam the rear skid plate on every transition. I haven't checked it on the stands, but I think the skid plate hits before the shock will fully bottom out...

That actually wasn't that smooth - but no big hits or dune climbs. Just a fun test with the camera. I'll be doing plenty more angles on my next trip out
