No, that was the smallest it comes in. I'll use some rubber sheet (Pond Liner) to shim it out to 1.5"
I found out yesterday, its on back order till December.

Tranny Breather hose.

Hay Gang, check your breather hose, next to the hose fitting, on top of the tranny. Mine must of snagged something and it tore the hose. I replaced the thin hose with fuel line.
After changing the tranny oil, I noticed some oil had spit back out the breather hose. How much came back out? I dont know. With the tranny only holding 10oz., I think every drop counts.
So, I have ordered a Clamp on, small Oil Breather, from Appletree Automotive VW & Dune Buggy Parts Service. Part Number AC115556-1.5

I wanted to have a air filter and over flow bottle set up. If I can get this to work right, any oil that gets pushed into the over flow, should drain back in the tranny, after it cools down. The little K&N air filter, on top, should keep it clean too

I'll post some pics of the installation.
