I appreciate everybody's feedback. I spoke with Jared at Redline and he was very helpfull. The starting problem is the brake sensor. I bypassed it and it starts right up (without a foot on the brake). Redline will be sending out the parts for me to replace them (including gear handle).

I also have a small hole in my right rear CV Boot. Redline is recommending replacing both axels since there was a problem with the splines on some of the early Riots. So I will be doing that as well (or if I can't, bringing it to a dealer). There's a good chance I may post a message asking if anyone has instructions when the time comes. I will most likely wait to replace the axles until after the Thanksgiving trip to Dumont, incase there is any setbacks replacing them.

A little bit of a rocky start, but I appreciate that Redline stands behind their product.
