XRMikey 1990 POLARIS 250 2X4 TRAIL BOSS sound about right?

XRMikey I thought there was something. At least hoping there was. I was able to resurface the mounting face of the hubs, also recut the bolt pattern & install helicoil's. Thanks for the reply's. That gives me something to look into. Having the make & model of the machine they came off of would be greatly appreciated.

I think it was off one of the larger 2WD quads, but honestly can't remember - it was a couple years ago when I was researching crossover hubs/rotors. I have some family in town, but will try to dig up the info later. It would be nice if our studs would fit, but the stud hole diameter was different on the Polaris hubs.

Re: Optional Hubs?

I did somehow manage to break a front hub, which does not surprise the people I ride with .

I did find a Polaris hub that will work, but can't remember what it came off of. I'll see if I can find my notes on it or ID what I have. The only problem was the Polaris hub needed longer studs.

Re: Optional Hubs?

The only front hubs that I know of that bolt on you have them. Stock and Fireball. We only run in the sand and we (12 cars) have never had a front hub failure.

Optional Hubs?

Ok... For those in the know. Is there anything available in the way of front hubs? The front Fireball hubs I have are complete crap. The stud pattern is so far off, I'm trying to install a set of real wheels with a 60 deg. taper lug nut & on 1 hub I can get 3 on & the fourth nut hits the top of the wheel, not even close. The other almost as bad but the pattern is off so nothing lines up. Running OMF wheels with a flat lug nut I didn't notice how bad they were, I knew one stud was crooked but I got the wheel on. Any help or if anyone has a good set of billet hubs for sale would be greatly appreciated. I still have my stocker's, but I don't know how well they will hold up. Thanks
