Have to agree with the others who have commented.

Come on --- you offer 40% less than his asking price.....

Offers responded to--- insults ignored.

Thank you Harper for such intelligent remarks concerning this thread! Also for your explanation of proper forum etiquette. You and a few other users should be commended for making the effort to educate the ones who desperately need it. I have to admit I may have been one of them without your help.

Re: 2010 redline riot price reduced

I just said in my option I would rather buy a rzr than a riot if they were the same price. Not sure how that would affect his sale. I'm sure there are people out there that would still take his riot over a rzr due to it being almost brand new just not me.

Re: 2010 redline riot price reduced

You making the offer is not really the problem.....the problem is saying things that negatively impact a person selling something.

He may be willing to wait for the right person to come along that is willing to pay more for a VERY nice original car. Or maybe he will keep it if it wont bring enough money...who knows.

What I do know is that my old Riot sold last year for a bunch more than 10K.

I'm done stating my case. Like I said I knew I was going to take some heat. I still feel my offer is fair. In my eyes no riot is worth more than my offer.

I agree hendo and harper. Sure glad I have 2 xl's. I tried to trade one of my xl's for it but he was not interested.
Done through PM. This is the way to do it.
So Rob, there have been offers on it.

Re: 2010 redline riot price reduced

See and I don't feel I low balled I stated my case as to why I was offering 6k. The was a riot for sale in AZ 2 months ago he was asking 6k and was clean low miles I think 135 if I remember. So I'm guessing he got around 5500 for it.

Yes I understand this thing is very clean, but it's been up for over a week now and is still for sale. Not even an offer other than mine that I know of. If it was worth 10k and how clean it is why isn't it sold yet? Because no one wants to spend the money.

Things are worth what people will buy them for.

Re: 2010 redline riot price reduced

At this point in the Redline saga I would have to say $10k is a deal for such a well preserved machine , in my opinion it is a collectors item as are the XL's to, I could see 6 to 7500 for a well used revolt as they are pretty common and usually you can always find 1 for sale, try finding Riot or an xl in good unmolested condition. Redlines like this are in the same class as the Honda pilots .

Re: 2010 redline riot price reduced

Longball, your exactly should catch heat for this. Basically by your comments, you know you were in the wrong....but you did it anyway.

You didn't just say negative things about another persons add, you went on to publically make a lowball offer.

It is a public forum......I get that......but have some respect. Send anything you want.....IN A PM (personal message).

Its very simple....treat people like you want to be treated.

Re: 2010 redline riot price reduced

I know I'm gonna get heat for this, but I know this is near new and nice but I think it is hard for someone to spend 10k on this knowing there are limited parts when things break. And for 10k I can buy a nice rzr 900 and know I can still get parts. Not trying to sound like a low ball but I would be interested in it at 6k and I pay all shipping. Just reality of the market. Call me if you want to discuss more.
