The spring return bracket on my car was broken when I got it with only 30 hrs on the car. I just made a new one and 6 years later it is still working fine. The only time mine stuck wide open was when the throttle cable frayed by the peddle. I did have a new spare cable in the trailer since the same thing happened to my Banshee that was built by Yamaha with way more money behind the company than Redline had! I've had to repair some things on my car but really far less than my Banshee over the years. I didn't loose my job when Redline closed up the plant so I have a different view of the product since I own and drive mine a lot and love every minute in the seat. If it sticks on you just turn it off.

Well said Pilot. I could not agree more and I struggled with mine more than you did yours I think.
I now maintain 3 and own 2 of them.
Overall for as hard as we beat them up they (Redlines) due quit well.

They did make a cheezy throttle spring bracket in the '07 models but came out with an updated version that was a beefier and less prone to break.

We still had an amazing 3 days of riding and will continue to do so. I was riding my Pilot until I get the hand controls in my revolt. It may be a ongoing process to keep the Revolt going but I am excited to do so. No matter what issues may come up there is always this forum to keep people informed.

Re: Revolt stuck throttle... CHECK YOURS TODAY!

This is part of the reason they are bankrupt. Poor engineering, cost savings at every turn. About a third of the parts in the Redline buggys are left over from the old snowmobile days, drive and secondary clutches, gauges, belts, brake calipers, brake pads, the red torque stops on the engine, brake lines, fuel filters, headlights, voltage regulators, hyme joints, decals, springs, brackets, harnesses, the name Revolt, etc... All thrown together in a big "stew" along with a few new parts and out came a dune buggy. Sorry for the rant but it is what it is.

Add another spring to help pull back your throttle. You will need to be a fabricator, mechanic and engineer to keep these units running. I know there are a few parts suppliers still out there, and I commend them for carrying the torch, but the time will come when they will no longer back these units because there are so few of them out there.

Thankfully, no one was injured.
