I agree Riot are really loud compared with other UTV brands, But I really love the sound of it even with stock exhaust. I guess the riot name was derived from its loudness that's why.

Weld another 1 1/2" tube like the one that is already there so there is two outlets that look the same. Now you're going to ask where to put it. Close to the one that is there now. Side by side works the best. If your muffler rattles when you shake it, you have a broken internal baffle. It is on the other end of the muffler from the outlets. You will need to cut at least a 3" hole in the end and take out the broken baffle. You can cut the whole end off if you want. Then weld back in the 3" piece you cut out or the end of the muffler. The baffle that you remove has a 1 1/2" piece of tubing in it that you can reuse as your second outlet.

Just put another 1 1/2" outlet in the stock muffler and it will run great.

Yes, they are very loud compared to a RZR. We've had a Riot and now a RZRS. Of course, there is no real engine compartment on the Riot (that thin plastic wall between you and the motor doesn't count ), so you catch all the intake and mechanical noises of the motor. If you still have the Comet primary clutch, it likely rattles like a jar full of rocks when idling too.

Is it me or is the riot loud at idle? The one I bought is awfully loud compared to my rzr. Something I may have missed
