We have finished the final prototype for the standard revolt and should have the car on the dyno next week. We will also be testing a fuel programmer with the exhaust. These 2 together should really help those motors perform alot better. We will have the dyno charts posted as soon as possible.

When we test for sound, we will use the standardized method that all US forestry servives use. I haven't done the exact method but i believe it is about 1 foot behind the endcap and 45 degrees to the right.

Are you go to take the readings from the cockpit or behind the machine at the exhaust?

Re: Revolt big gun exhaust pictures

we dont have an exact db rating yet. Once we get the units back in here we are going to try to get somewhat of a accurate number. If I had to guess, i would say the revolt was around 100-103 with out the quiet insert and about 98-99 with the insert. Like I said, this is just a guess.

Do you have a db sound rating? What db, at what rpm, at what distance?

I'm glad you have the USFS approved. I've been stopped by Ranges, but at the time they were looking for registration stickers.

Re: Revolt big gun exhaust pictures

The programmers will not change the stock ecu settings but will work as a piggyback system on top of the stock settings. As for the lean conditions, Our shop is only about 500ft above sea level and the 2 units that we tested here ran extremely lean. If you are running anywhere from 3000ft and up, your unit should definately tend to run rich. Our production model exhaust systems will come with a spark arrestor and have the forestry approved stamp on the muffler wrap.

did you feel a difference from champion plugs to NGK's?
Ya, a little bit. Maybe a little smother idle. I trust NGK's over Champion any day. I've had nothing but trouble with champion's in the past. Thats what I run in my truck too.
