Hello sand racer no problems to date I have only slightly bent the one side a couple of times only about a 1/2 inch once from a large rock at 20 or so mph and the other time was on a tree stump at about 5-10 mph I got home and hit it twice with my 8 lb splitting maul back into shape... no problems at where it connects to the frame what so ever I think that if you are riding anywhere but the sand dunes ..steel is the only way to go it beats snapping one off 20 miles out and being stranded |

I have thought about doing it but worry about changing the weak link and stressing the bungs. Just curious how it has worked out for you. I broke a lower on mine on a rock, I ride in the mountains what I did was made a set out of steel , they have taken a good beating from rocks and logs and small tree stumps, I have actually bent one slightly and was able to straighten it out with a 5 pound hammer I 8 pound splitting maul will work great also here is the forum link also with all the information https://www.redlineutvforums.net/susp...dius-rods.html this is the way to go |

Re: Where can I order rear radius rods from?? Go to Speedway Motors. Put part # 910354 in the search box. You will be looking at 6061 swedged radius rods for 5/8 heim joint. Just pick the length you want and order. Cost is about $12.00 ea. Later, Scott |
