Re: Honest thoughts on the Riot

I am not at allowed to state my case as it is pending. However, As it raises in ranks it seems most companies will try to wiggle there way out of any situation. I have had dealings with Kawasaki which I will say is a pain in the ass.

Every time that I’ve ever dealt with anyone at Redline they have been awesome and very easy to work with. You can’t call Polaris and talk to the engineers whenever you want too. And if you did there is no possibility of them going out of their way to help you troubleshoot. What did they do to make you think any different? Who do you deal with when you talk to them?

Just my personal experience. I have never in all my major purchases been treated as well as Redline treated me. I WILL definately buy again.

It may also be that Mike at Red Rock Rails is just one helluva dealer as well. Glad I had mine drop shipped and didn't go to a huge mega dealer....

I also think the riot would look better with a triangle brace on the roll cage and full sized doors.

Re: Honest thoughts on the Riot

Right on Bearfoot, Crazy Texan or not!! LOL It took me $14,000.00 to make the RZR what I wanted in add ons and it only took me $4,500.00 to get the Redline to my personnal taste. The bumper took a lil southern ingenuity(didn't think anyone down her could spell that, huh?), but I finally figured out how to use it properly and not as a plow!! Although I certainly dug a furrow or three in the table top jumps of 30 ft on hard pack.....

I drove my RZR last weekend and I got the feeling I was in the Flintstone mobile. My comparrison was I was I climbed oout of my Redline Mustang GT and onto my John Deere front loader. The inspiration to drive like a stunt man just evaporated!!!

******PLease Note******* Drivng like a crazy Texan is not condusive to ones health and safety, nor to the lifespan of the equipment being driven. Do so only at the risk of extreme personal anguish.

Thank You,
Uncle Bubba

Your right, a prerunner front bumper with a skid plate would look and work better.

Re: Honest thoughts on the Riot

I test drove one out in glamis and was very impressed with the suspension going through the whoops. It handles them similar tp a class 1. I think it could use a little more power though. And that front bumper definitely needs to go i think a prerunner front bumper with a skid plate would look a lot better. Overall i was very impressed with this utv.

I have more miles on trails, than the dunes. I take mine into hills above my house.
Link ... Bountiful Utah - Google Maps
Its very rocky. So far, I haven't needed 4 wheel drive. I have even been in the snow. It stays around up there until late July.
The long travel works great. The factory Fox shocks work very good for recreation riding.
If your going to drive like a "Crazy Texan", you might like the Elka shocks better.
Unlike the standard RZR, you wont have to drop a bunch of $$$, to make it drivable.

The stock machine works very well.
