Re: Snowflake Race 08'

The stock redline rims are horriblely flimsy. When changing from stock tires to paddles the tire machine folded mine like a taco! What tires/wheels are you runing?

Re: Snowflake Race 08'

Redline (by way of Damon) have been supporting us well. Not necessarily in parts (YET!) but in support and equipment. Snowflake was awesome! We were able to stay in their huge toyhauler and partake in the shower and fine hospitality. That was excellent in and of itself.

I am waiting for them to start a Redline racing circuit which I will DEFINATLEY take part in. And if we can keep winning races out here against these Rhinos, Razrs, and Rangers, who knows............maybe Redline will start pitching in other parts and support.........like if I over rev my motor trying to beat a razr ......... and blow it up!

But what I really need is a wheel and tire sponsor!!!!

Re: Snowflake Race 08'

Mike,
Mine is the 07 model. Why is the ecm needed to be reset and what setting is the TPS min/max? Will this affect my low/top end? Speed? Its great to get this info before dune season that way my machine can be completely gone thur. Are you guys selling the riot yet and whats the OTD price?

Re: Snowflake Race 08'

The steering wheel cap screws need to be pulled out and put back in with loctite. There are a couple of oil cooler hoses that need to be replaced which requires that you dump the oil because one of them comes from under the engine. The ECM update will require that a dealer hook up a laptop with the diagnostic software and reset the TPS min/max settings. I am assuming that your Revolt is an '07 model, If yours is an '08 some of the things that I listed might have been corrected before it left the factory.

Thanks for the info on the brakeline. I am going to take a good look at mine this weekend.

Re: Snowflake Race 08'

No I have not done ecm but will call tomorrow to add on the list. The front brake line was rubbing on the ziptie which I cut the ziptie so it did not damage the front brakelines. It did not damage the actual braided line just the plastic outer. Is there any other recalls your aware of?

Re: Snowflake Race 08'

Have you already had the ECM sent back for the programming update for the cold start fix? What is wrong with the front brake line?

Re: Snowflake Race 08'

My revolt has been having some issues with overheating. Im going to take it in tomorrow for the recalls/warranty work which is- accelator(gas) pedel, front left brakeline, and the overheating. I talked with jared at redline today and he assured me it will be taken care of. Time to get ready for dune season!!!

What kind of support is the factory giving you for racing?
