Good Idea. Keep an eye on your fuel filter. Some foams break down after a few years and can clog the filter. I'm not sure of the replacement interval.

Re: measurement needed

No,no,no, not at all.
We were just making sure all the facts were out there.
As for the bladder, it will benefit all users, racing or not.
Your going from 43 Lbs (5 gals.) to 86 lbs (10 gals.)
A little dodge while side hilling might send you rolling.
It's just quite a bit of weight to have licking back & forth.
If you do get it figured out & it works great for you. I'm interested to see how you went about it.
I'm all for extended range.

Re: measurement needed

Yes I know that it has a bladder. but I am not racing and not worried about a bladder in the one that I am going to build.... or fuel slosh just mountains and dune riding. I just need a longer fuel range for the rides that I go on that exceed 50 plus miles. right now I am having to get other people that have RZR's to haul my extra 5 gallons for me, and that sucks they get twice the mileage that I do .... but I have twice the HP that they do,,,
I do understand all the racing features built in but like I noted above I am not a racer
I hope that you guys understand my point of view I didnt mean to sound like Harmon fuel cells where bad it is that they are way too much for me to spend money on right now

also Mike @ RRP did you get the oil change kits finished ???

Thanks Mike

Re: measurement needed

You do know that the Harmon fuel cells have a bladder in them right?
Fuel foam for baffling as well to heavily reduce fuel slosh.

Doh! I was typing at the same time. LOL

Re: measurement needed

There is more to it than what you see. There is a special bladder in it as well as other safety features that account for the cost. The custom "Safety" bladder that fits in the shell is almost two -thirds of the cost alone.

Re: measurement needed

Thanks Jeff

I have the same drawing but did not see that measurement.
I am going to make my own... I cant afford the 1500.00 that Harmon wants for one....... should be able to get it all done for around 150.00 plus make a flat one for under the seat that should hold 2 gallons making the total system around 10 gallons
