That looks like a power-slide waiting to happen! Enjoy those wheels!

FYI- You should see your other parts by Monday.

Good luck this racing season!

Re: New Wheels and Tires

No track time yet. I would love to do the oval track thing again that was so much fun. My first real test will be the race Feb 26th.

Oval track, that is banked oval, IS a blast. I had an FL 350 I made into a little sprint car at the local track in the 80's. That was some of the most fun we ever had. It is a wierd feeling to turn sideways at 50 and stay at 50 around a banked turn. And real good practice for the slide job. Still use all that practice today. That is almost as fun as the outside to inside pass. I really need to race this year.

We practiced back in Nov on a small oval but I would love to run the 3/8 Mile local track. I raced dirt stock cars for 6 years so I know how much it can help with steering with the throttle and learning to pitch the car into the corner. The problem I always had was the redlines dont like to turn and have to much body roll. New shock valving, suspension geometry and Sway bars have made mine sit lower, stay flat and turn. Its much more fun to drive now.
