Re: Glamis flats

the weather was great..had 4 days of bad ass winds and created some of
the biggest razorbacks ive seen in a long time and witches eyes..
raced one of those new long arm RZR with a turbo, he took me on the straights but not by much until he hit those woops going from olds hill back to the flats and i waxed him good..awesome week

Re: Glamis flats

It is great to have the best of both worlds. Revolt suspension AND a turbo!!!!! Lets see some vids WFO. Are you telling fish stories about that RZR?

Re: Glamis flats

actually this was a prototype some guys from around that area were
working on..that rzr would pull olds hill great and the straights were also awesome but thats not were racing is won...jumps, woops and turns i think..i kicked his ass so bad it was awesome..no vids though and no big fishes either...that longarm they have is ok but its still heavy, and you know its hard to catch a REVOLT on the woops even if its stock

Re: Glamis flats

Woops cornering, and jumps is right. But straight line always helps. Every RZR I have come across does not stand a chance. What I really like is when they are trying to catch you to say " What the hell is that thing. I have been trying to catch you, man that thing is fast." Always brings a HUGE smile to my face!!!! I have not run across a turboed RZR yet but I am sure I can pull him on the flats AND the woops. I would love to make it to Glamis one day. I am in MO so it is a 22+ hour trip. One day I will make it though for sure.

Re: Glamis flats

I will try to meet you there next time you go if you give a couple weeks notice. Ive been wanting to go glamis forever. I mostly ride in the dirt. I have been to sand mountain a couple times but I have always heard glamis is the bomb.

Re: Glamis flats

Joe,
Thanks, that was cool. I had a blast riding wheelies like that. It is the coolest feeling. Just an observation for you. My ride use to hike the front wheel like that and I added 30cc of 3weight oil to each shock and lowered the pressure by 25lbs (250 rear-210 front) and it stopped that behavior and still sucks the bumps like it use to. It also made a huge difference in turning ability under power. So if you do not like that this is something you can try.
