Riot Help

I am from Utah and I just bought a 2009 Riot and I need some aftermarket help. I ride mostly Sand and want an Intake, Exhaust, and ECU. I think they are making a Big Gun Exhaust and ECU but need an Air Filter Setup. I am looking for something sort-of Factory. Meaning a Bolt-On without much Modification but still lots of performance. Like a K&N Bolt On without many mods. I have some mechanical ability but want to just do Bolt-Ons so it can be put back to stock easily. Also who do I talk to about clutching? Thanks for the help guys.

Re: Riot Help

Call Mike and read a bit through the forums. There's several good ideas all over this site. Most Air Filter mods are some configuration of K and N's straight to the throttle bodies. or some collection of turbo tubes used for runners.

Papasmurf660,

I just took a Riot to Big Gun this weekend and they have now made a prototype off a production machine. It will be a few weeks before a production pipe is available from them. They will now make a jig and then go into production. I saw the prototype that their designer made and it looks like it will be a simple spring and bolt in upgrade. I have a couple have already pre ordered them along with the programmers which are recommended to run with the pipe. There has been good feed back with the programmers regarding increased performance. With the programmers you can modify the fuel delivery to the engine. If you want to control all aspects of the engine tune including timing, fuel, cooling fan, etc... Then Queen Racing's ViPec ECM is the cat's meow.

Regarding clutch tuning I am in discussion with the Team Industries R&D dept to come up with some clutch combos that will work for different riding applications. Info to follow soon. I will post it up!

I am sending you a PM.

Mike

Hey Joe!

You bet I remember you! Great Video tell your gal she is doing a great job and before long she will be able to give TP a run for his money . Your track looks good. I remember driving back there and the guys were just building the jumps and laying out the track. Where is the video of you?

I still have your number and will give you a call so we can talk about tires and your Elka's.

It is good to see you on the forum.

Mike
