REPLACE THE WASHERS in the front spindle

My Revolt has 245 miles. Here is what the loose A-Arm bolts do to the aluminum spindle when they are not replaced with grade 8 or better. You will need a 15/16 wrench, a 3/4 wrench and a 13 mm or 1/2" allen. I just used a 1" long nut and a socket. As you can see the washers from the factory are not thick enough or hard enough. I had to file the bottom flat again. he washers I got at Home depot were the largest ones they had but I still had to drill them out to fit. They also have 14mm grade 10 in the drawers in the fastener isle but they were not as large in diameter. If yours have not been upgraded they are likely this bad or worse. They did not look loose but they were.

We put posts on here about 6 years ago explaining that you need to put grade 8 washers on all the front suspension. That was after I had to put steel sleeves in my spindle holes that were warn out with only 30 hrs on the car. Use lock tight on all bolts and check them often. The rear hubs also need grade 8 washers on the stub axle and torque the nut to 80 ft lbs. The front tie rod ends and ball joints need to be as tight as you can get them.
