Where is the best place on the engine to hook up the oil pressure guage tube? Thanks.

Your engine has the turbo oil line attached to the side of the head. It should be on the left hand side of the head since that is the compressor side (cooler side) of the head for routing. The head has the same hole located on the right hand side or turbine side (hot side) of the head for the oil pressure gauge. The hole on the left is towards the front of the head and the hole on the right is towards the back of the head. You can use a 1/8" pipe thread fitting in these holes. They are both actually 10mm fine thread but a 1/8" pipe thread is very close and works perfectly. There are also oil galley plugs on the bottom of the block also but you want to know the oil pressure that is reaching the head.

Thanks, it appears the current set up is opposite. to clarify....the turbo supply (banjo bolt) should be directly above the oil filter? Also, what kind of pressure should I be seeing?

Frank, I think Chad uses a Weber oil line in his turbo kit and they are for the head bolted on the other way. You will have to make up a longer one (16") to put it on the left side of the head up by the oil filter. Any shop that makes up hyd. lines can make up this oil line using your old line fittings. This will keep the oil cooler since it won't be close to the turbine side of the turbo. You will see 80 lbs or more when the engine is cold. It should run at about 50 lbs when hot above 3,000 rpm. It usually is at about 20 to 30 lbs at idle when hot. Use 20/50 full synthetic oil with the turbo engine.

Re: oil pressure guage

Did you stay with the Banjo bolt or change to a 90 or 45 or straight fitting out of the head to improve oil flow?

I always use the stock Weber banjo bolt and the stock fittings from both ends of the hose. I figure those snow mobiles last for thousands of miles so why mess with what works.
