GRRR

Blew the transmission up today at the track. What are all my options? I have already sent an email to RPM is there any other option I should know about? Also ISO for an RPM box setup at this point.

Paxton, you can get a new stronger one from Wastland Performance or from Sandsports for about $1400. They have upgraded gears that are heat treated for more strength. It'll cost you at least 3 grand or more to go with the RPM by the time you get the mount kit, axle cv joints and brake changes. I think most of the guys that have done it have changed axles too. That would be way stronger but it'll cost you. If you're going to race it in the dirt, then the RPM will pay for itself in the long run.

Beautiful track conditions, Moist red clay that was packed! Add a little whoop section and it was KABLAMO! I will need an RPM kit because it is a racecar that gets raced hard. Its unfortunate but a reality I suppose. The carnage pics will be great I am sure. The noise that poor thing made was criminal.

Most that have done rpm say that the brake set up sucks. You need to plan on doing outboard brakes at the wheels.
