Nitrous kit

Looking at putting nitrous on the revolt, has anyone played with nitrous and what system would be better wet or dry kit,Spoke to a guy at dyno tune nitrous ,he told me to run a dry system straight into the air box but it needs to spray over the air sensor ,the air sensor is not in the air box, where is the air sensor located.
If someone has used nitrous ,is there a good increase in hp and is it reliable with no motor issues

Frogger has it on his Revolt. If you run a dry set up you have to be able to increase the fuel from the injectors. The Walbro ECU will not do this. The Map sensor on our cars is a air temp and a air pressure sensor. It is located in the cross over tube between the 2 throttle bodies. The kit that Frogger is using is a wet kit that sprays gas and nitrous. Save yourself some head aches and put a wet kit on. Dynotune is the brand that Frogger is using. And yes the hp is good but you can only use it at WOT. So all the other run time is stock hp. Frogger has 3 five lb. bottles and he still runs out ounce and awhile. Its addictive.

Re: Nitrous kit

You'll also need to clutch for the added horsepower. With stock clutching, you'll just hit the rev limiter when on the NOS.

Frogger did put in adjustable weights (Thudershift brand) He didn't have them at first and it didn't really affect the top rpm that much. If I were you I would try it without the adjustable weights and see if you will need them. The trouble is if you set the clutch up for nitrous (heavier weight) then it will lower your rpm when not on the juice. That is one of the reasons I went for the turbo.

Re: Nitrous kit

It will also depend on what RPM you're running at now. I think the OEM rev limiter is 8400, so if you are well below that, you have room to go with the NOS without a clutching change.

Re: Nitrous kit

Kit comes with 18 hp jets. Be sure and order the 34 hp and the 43 hp jets also. Frogger runs the big ones.
