New 2009 Revolts

Hi all

As everyone here probable knows Sand Sports Unlimited has new 2009s for sale. I have a few questions for some of the most experienced of you:

Has anyone on here bought from SSU, has anyone taken delivery of one of these and/ or can anyone provide insights on things to watch out for on 2009s?

The price seems fair enough relative to what used ones (mostly 2007s it seems) seem to go for. I like the idea of having a new one. Any different opinions out there?

I'd plan to use it mostly for trail riding around Central Oregon although I'd probably find my way to the sand occasionally.

I don't think I'll thrash on it much at all. Are Revolts generally reliable?
I do have in mind parts may be somewhat difficult to come but the most common generally available and likely to for years to come?

Any thoughts appreciated

A

Re: New 2009 Revolts

There are alot of great used cars out there with many add-ons and extras. You will find a few real gems out there with build histories and ownership upgrades documented right here on this website. For my money I would buy a used Revolt over a "new" 2007 anyday. The quality control on the cars that came off the Redline assembly line was far better in my opinion and it still had a few issues.

Re: New 2009 Revolts

I agree with Ron,

You can find some great used revolts out there, with all the great add on's already installed and any bugs already worked out. I actually bought my 2010 Revolt used out of California and I have loved it ever since.... I didn't even know there was some new Revolts out there for sale at the time.

So far we have not had any complaints from anyone that has bought one of the last 2009's from SSU.

Buying a new Revolt is not for everyone. There is about 15 New Revolts left and once they are gone, there gone.

I think it comes down to personal preference and everyone's got their own opinion.

I love my Revolt !
