street legal revolt?

Anyone on the forum street legal? If so how? Have been looking into LSV tag if I pick up a revolt. I'm in Alabama and I know each state is different but all input is welcome!

Re: street legal revolt?

Does the revolt come with a title, MSO, or bill of sale?

Re: street legal revolt?

My RZR 800 EFI is licensed for the street in SD. I was required to add turn signals, horn, rear view mirrors and a license plate bracket and light. The RZR is equipped from the factory with hi/low beam headlights and tail/stop lights. Polaris makes an international version, sold overseas and I suspect in Canada which has the items which I had to add, but they will not sell them to US dealers and a dealer where I stopped in Central Washington was able to verify the parts exist, but the factory or distributor he contacted would not supply them. I happen to have a Factory Shop Manual and parts are shown on the wiring schematics. So I had to get parts at local parts houses. (also cheaper) As for licensing, all new ATVís, Motorcycles, Cars, etc come to the dealer with a MSO. The dealer uses it to obtain registration or licensing. Since I purchased mine from a dealer in another state I simply had him provide me with the MSO which I then furnished to SD along with proof that the equipment had been added and Insurance for Registration and License. I also have a windshield, doors and roof although they are not required in SD.

Re: street legal revolt?

My riot is licensed for the street. But have to stick to minor roads. Can't go on the freeway. I needed the title and proof of insurance. The DMV didn't have it in their books. But after showing pictures of it and explaining it was like a Polaris RZR, they moved forward. Actually, now that I think about it, DMV wouldn't help me at all cause it wasn't in the book. I had to go to an independent place that does license and such and worked it with them.

I didn't need to add anything to mine.

Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.......who's bringing the chips?

Welcome to Arizona where " The West is Still Wild"!!!!

This is a little off topic but I found interesting... I was in Kingman the other day and this guy rides up on a Harley at the gas station next to me. I looked over at him and saw that he had no shirt on and was packing a .45 in a leather holster across his chest. I think he was trying to make a statement. Jay is it legal down there to pack in the open or do you have to have a CCW permit?
