tranny position
Does anyone know why the tranny is mounted lower than the main frame? Is it a fittment issue or suspension travel clearence to the fenders or....

I've wondered the same.....glad you asked. I suspect it is because of half shaft angles and still keeping the belly up high enough to clear other things. We'll see what others think.

I thought the same thing but the lowest point is the "lowest point". If you gain ground clearence up front you still have to get under the tranny.??. Maybe it is to level the machine since the front is so high.
