Are the still making Redline Revolts?

Hi all

I'm interested in finding out more about Redline vehicles and have a few questions.

First of all I'm not perfectly clear whether Redline is still in business and whether they are still producing Redlines and Riots. Their website appears pretty stale and I'm wondering about their financial stability and what the effect this could have on the long-term availability of parts for these puppies. Is anyone clear on this? If they are still being produced what are realistic prices on new ones and are they changing/ improving things enough to justify buying a new one versus used?

Second question: what would you say is the youngest age someone could drive one of these things safely. I had a Honda Odyssey (FL250) when I was about 12. My son will be that age soon and I'm thinking a couple of these things would be a good way to spend time together. He's pretty coordinated and generally careful. Would you think a 12 or 13 year old could handle?

Last question: How reliable are these things? I don't want to drop $20 g or more on a couple of things they be constantly annoyed because I'm unable to use them because they are bug-ridden. I'm fairly handy but would prefer to spend the time driving these rather than fixing them. Have people been pretty happy with the reliability? I think they are pretty simple vehicles really but maybe I overlook the effect of small production numbers.

Thanks in advance for any insights! Maybe I'll see some of you on the Oregon Dunes sometime.

Re: Are the still making Redline Revolts?

1st question: read this and you will know as much as we do:
https://www.redlineutvforums.net/foru...ll-up-air.html
2nd: New left over and slightly used (200-400 mile units) are going from 6500 to 8000, from my observations. Not many changes
3rd: I'm not going to say if it is safe for your kid, except that the laws in most states state you must be 16 to operate a full sized ATV. I would only let a seasoned rider with buggy experience even test mine.
Lastly, these are reliable units in my experience and observation.
Many parts are common to offroad buggies. Engine parts are handled thru numerous Weber motor parts suppliers. Any parts, tech info, and service/maitainence requirements can be handled thru this forum and Mike @ Red Rock Powersports.
I bought mine on ebay for $6777 with 92 miles on it.

2007 HMF customized Revolt (exhaust, fuel controller, wrap, bumpers and narrowed suspension for GNCC racing).
Full hand controls, separate braking, DWT beadlocks, 2:1 steering quickener,
Fireball Billet hubs, Holeshot ATR's and Unisteer electric power steering, swaybars and Tatum rack.
