Performance upgrades

I've seen the two different exhausts offered, the big gun programmer, queens ecu and the turbo. What else is out there? Any cams, ported heads, high comp (race gas) pistons? How about stroker cranks?

I've got a pretty good deal lined up if I want a revolt. I'll be getting the opportunity to drive one soon thanks to Patsy and Gary. I'm coming off of 60 hp quads so I know it's going to feel a little down on power. Looking for possible power upgrades

Re: Performance upgrades

I was riding a ltr450 on 110 octane aviation fuel, power commander 3, HMF full exhaust. Do not the HP I think I heard they were 47 hp stock. If that is right I guess I made maybe 53-56 with mods. 20" and regeared. Runs great and when I got the Revolt that is how I felt, down on power. But if you are not racing and not worried about rulebooks the turbo is wicked fast in the Revolt. If you watch the last vid I posted the blue bike is a 700 Yamaha big bore kit and race fuel. I was doing pretty respectable considering still dialing in the clutch. I am loosing a bunch off the line. But it pulls hard the whole way. I am down about 500-800 rpm depending on the gear range. Anyway the point is with the turbo you will NOT feel like you are down on power. Top end 7500 rpm it is a little spooky still. I hardly ride the quad anymore. And if 130 hp is not enough, I hear you can use Quenn Racing ECU and get maybe 170-180 hp from the FACTORY Weber tubo with a guarantee on the turbo. I don't know if the thing would hold up at 180hp. Not for me thanks. If you are in MO riding maybe you can get a quick lap to see if it works for you.

Re: Performance upgrades

A turbo from wasteland may be possible at some point. I never doubt what a power adder will do. I love em especially superchargers. That said, the "plan" is that if my wife likes it we will end up with two. I'll need some hp in between now and a turbo.

I read queen racing post and it seems he offers all that I'm looking for. I've called and emailed him. Just waiting to hear back.

Re: Performance upgrades

Yeah, he is a good dude. He hooked me up with Chad at Wasteland Performance. Mark can do a lot with that motor. Can't go wrong there. I am a speed junky so the faster the better!!!! I have been able to keep my wife out of ours so far, BUT, when she gets in I will be in the same boat you are. I think she will want a RZR though. Either way eventually it will catch up too me.
