Talking Team has Redline drive clutches

Hey folks,
Team indutries has the "team" clutch with proper cut available. I'm ordering the first now, and I'll post up part numbers later. Just an FYI. My understanding is these will ultimately be the production Redline version, and have already been tested on Redline products.

Mine will be set up with adjustable weights and a spring for my modified Queen racing engine. I'll post my results later.

I found that the exposed clutches are pretty open to taking on small rocks and that testing and my 100 miles in the Parker 250 basically destroyed the other ones requiring refacing and complete rebuild. I'm having a custom aluminum shroud built similar to the RZR clutch cover with ventilation.

Just a heads up as this has been a hot topic lately!!

Re: Team has Redline drive clutches

what do you mean when you say: "proper cut available"?
is this like the machining part of it?

I think Ronny is talking about the taper so that it will fit on the end of the Weber crank.

Re: Team has Redline drive clutches

Just tested my race Riot with the new Team clutches. I have both drive and driven new clutches. I know I have a modded engine, but I just ran 70.0 mph by the GPS. I still have some dialing in to do. Just wanted to post my results so far!! I gained nearly 10 mph...... My car is heavy in desert race garb. Also, my engagement is 2300 rpm now....

Re: Team has Redline drive clutches

Some photos of the goods. I swapped from a TSS-98 driven clutch to a TSS-04 driven clutch. The drive clutch has bigger buttons on the spider and is heavier duty thatn either the stock Comet or Polaris clutches.

Re: Team has Redline drive clutches

The buttons on the slider are about a third larger than the Polaris clutch and it is beefier than either the Polaris or Comet clutches.

Let me make one HUGE statement now: "If you don't own a set of adjustable weights, your wasting time!!"

I wish I had figured that out earlier!! They alone are worth the months of trial and error I've done. My knowledge of these clutches has grown ten fold in the three days I've been playing with the adjustable weights!!

Look at the simple instructions and they make the sollution extremely simple!!

Do you have to pull the clutch each time, that an adjustment is made?
