Clutches

Went to a buggy show this weekend in Lansing Mich and seen this company that makes both Driven and Drive clutches. They also make them with overdrive. I`m wondering how they are. The name is STM Power Sports and based out of Mich. Wondering if they would be a better replacement type of clutches. They say the clutches bite better on the belt than the stock ones. Anybody else heard of them or hear of any results of their clutches? Thanks.

Re: Clutches

I run STM, Supreme Tool and machine, clutches on my turboed Polaris Xp. Upgraded to it after I had engine built to 230 HP. They are awesome clutches. I was smoking belts daily at over a hundred a pop until I upgraded clutches. They use a heavier duty, wider belt. For $2300.00 bucks a pair I'd spend my money elsewhere on Redline performance. My Revolt is 180 HP and does just fine with Team clutches although I did upgrade the driven clutch to newer style Team clutch with the exposed rollers. You can get more bang for your bbuck with other upgrades..... just my .02...
