Re: Big Gun Exhaust for Revolt and XL

Folks,
Big Gun is reputable and frankly, the only interested perty in us Redline Folks thus far. I bought mine on site unseen pre-order, just because I know the quality will be good and anything has to be better than the 50 qt steel coffee perculator that comes stock on the Riot!! LOL

Remember this: "EPA compliant means from the factory with asthma!!"

A quote from me!!

I ordered mine today! Paul at Big gun said the muffler for the revolt is going to resemble a stinger for the vw engine. He said the muffler on the riot really made it sound great. Not sure how much power gain until they test it more.

What did you end up doing for your intake. Any photos?

Re: Big Gun Exhaust for Revolt and XL

I used two different ideas I found here on the Redline Forums. I used the the simple strait to the throttle body idea and Bearfoot's/Klemdotter's silicone intake to run a short intake from the throttle body to K&N's mounted under the seat to get cooler air, shield the filter from moisture and keep it away frm the wheel dirt. Post some photos Monday in a new thread. Didn't mean to hijack!!

Re: Big Gun Exhaust for Revolt and XL

I Emailed Big Gun last week asking for an Exhaust for my Revolt. If they dont want to make them I know a guy here in Victorville that does custom headers and can probably make a header and tubing that can match whatever muffler you want to run. I would prefer one that has been tuned for the Revolt though.
