Base settings for big gun programmer?

Anyone have the settings for the big gun programmer. The revolt is all stock.

Thanks, Manny.

Re: Base settings for big gun programmer?

Here's the instructions. Keep in mind a couple things we've found out:

1. At sea level we run very rich - even with open intake/exhaust and no programmer at all.
2. Our ECU seems to over compensate for altitude and de-fuels heavily causing a lean condition. At 5,000 ft, ours would barely run on the sea level settings hitting a crazy 17+ AFR (we should have been running rich)
3. If you don't have an AFR gauge, get one to see where you are really at.
4. The transition modes (4 and 5) operate independently and have nothing to do with each other. The yellow/blue (mode 4) adjustment tells when to transition from green to yellow fuel. The red/blue (mode 5) tells when to transition from yellow to red fuel.
5. The lights on the programmer will change as you increase throttle/speed. Note the transition from green lights to yellow to red as you are driving. If you don't see the red, you're not getting into the red fuel settings on the programmer and only running on the yellow mode. If this is the case, lower mode 5 until you have red fuel engagement. Watching how many lights come on and what color they are when you are driving will tell you where to set the modes 4 and 5.

Re: Base settings for big gun programmer?

I wish you wrote the instructions because you explained it much better than they did.

Thanks.
