Revolt radiator question

Just curious about how the radiator is built. Since both ports are on the bottom is it split somehow?

I believe there is a plate welded in the lower tank.

That is correct XRMikey. Hot water flows up one side, crosses over, in the top tank and back down the other side.

Time to reopen this post! If you pull off the inlet hose and all fluid drains out, how can it be a dual pass? If it does have a plate it's not complete because I then immediately pulled the outlet hose and it was dry! I looked closely at the radiator tank between the two outlets and ant see any visible weld! Anyone else looked into this closely?

if i remember when i bought # 19 in tucson in aug of 07 i had a overheat problem and questioned the factory on that, i told them to seperate the lower half of radiator to force water up and over the top, they said they didnt think of that and would experament with it, if i recall jared said that
they were going to add a deflector in the middle of radiator at the bottom
so its probably not a complete block and redirect so as to let it drain completely..but i never changed mine out what i found on mine was the fan blade was on backwards ,once i flipped it around it pulled air through like it should and has never overheated yet..

Try & put a wire into the inlet & see if you can push it all the way across the bottom tank.
If you hit something it's divided, if not, well... there you go.
It just might be a flow baffle as stated above. Or it just might be in later radiators only, if at all.

Yeah I hit a block, but a true dual pass would be cool! Anyone know anyone whose got one for a revolt?

All the radiators that I have dealt with that use this design have flow plates.
It helps with the removal of trapped air as well as complete draining of coolant.
The amount of flow that it has hardly affects it's ability to cool.
It does help with low volume circulation though.
