carnage

I decided Sat. to try and adjust my clutches so I can pull the wheels like the Oregan gang. I have been running my set up for just over one year and have no issues and running the same belt. Until Sat. evening that is. I had to mess around and look what it got me. I am posting these pics because there has been some concerns if this guard was enoutgh to protect engine components and driver. This is the second time it has saved me so maybe these pics will help reassure some folks. This happen at 70mph and 8200 rpm sounded like a bomb going off.

Re: carnage

Wow, guess I need to add one of them asap to my project. Mark Queen had one fly apart on a dyno running maxed out. It wasn't pretty either. That would seriously hurt or worse!

Do you have an extra bracket laying around?

Re: carnage

Todd, here are the pictures of the one I made this weekend. Just copied the factory guard that came on my 2007 Revolt but a little beefier.

Oregon---not Oregan. How did you adjust your clutch like the guys that pull wheelies do? That adjustment is secret. We haven't broke a belt yet so there must be a difference. The guard is a great modification to have though. Sorry for your carnage, and its good your not in the hospital.
