Turbo oil return line

Moved the return line to the back of the motor. Didn't like the trapped oil in the return line from going under or around the motor to the front.
There is a boss in the back of the motor that a -8 ORB fits. Used a -8 ORB to -10AN. Bored the -8 ID to match the -10
Going to use the front fitting for a crank case vent. I think we need one with the turbo's. Would like to put one in the valve cover also.
Maybe missed it but haven't seen a post or a comment on either mod.

Re: Turbo oil return line

Great post! I haven't seen one of these yet either. I wish it were up last night when I brain farted on the oil lines. It's hotter than all get out in Texas right now!

Tony, the Revolts have a small hose (1/4 to 3/8) going from that fitting in the rear to the oil tank as a vent which we have routed up and around the left side to our oil tanks. Summit sells 18mm to -8, -10, and -12 AN fittings also. I'm using -12 on my oil tank and cooler lines and -10 on my turbo return line. I had to weld bungs on the lower engine and return tubes. Looks good, Dave

Thanks Dave.
Called Summit today and ordered the 18's. They had a hard time locating a part number. But they are on their way. It should benefit with a bigger breather. Did you up size the breather line or stay with stock?

I found the 18mm fittings on the Summit web site. We are just using the stock vent line to tank but made sure it is up hill all the way to tank. Ours were routed under the engines from Redline. P-trap affect. Later, Dave
