Wastegate actuator spacer

Milled a spacer to move the actuator over .250". It should be easier to mount the inter cooler hose with the added clearance. I will post the progress so Jeff (adrenaline addix)(son-in-law) can see what I am doing to his car. Here are some pics.

Re: Wastegate actuator spacer

Looking good, don't forget to shorten the linkage rod. You probably already have but I know some people have not done that.

Re: Wastegate actuator spacer

Already adjusted it. Thanks, sometimes a guy misses something simple. I just read the turbo post from one end to the other, a lot of good info. I read you are already spacing the actuator over, good call. Should have read it earlier. Thanks to all the turbo guys for sharing their info.
Can't wait to get this car running.

Re: Wastegate actuator spacer

Actually I don't space it over, Just drill a new hole on one end and weld on tab with hole on the other end to move it away from the turbo outlet then grind out the back of the bracket a little to make room for the hose and clamp then I don't have to shorten the linkage.

Mine is spaced out just like yours with the spacer welded to the actuator bracket.
