ECM UPDATE #2 for CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

Hey Revolt Owners,

Just want to let you know there is a second update for the engine's ECM that corrects the check engine light programming so the light will function properly after the light is reconnected. The first ECM update was a cold start update that also addressed the check engine light issue but didn't correct the problem with the light. The guys at Redline tell me this new update will correct the issue. I sent two ECMs back to Redline last week to be flashed.

P.S.> The guys at Redline received the ECMs, flashed them and sent them back to me on the same day. That's service!!!!

Mike

Re: ECM UPDATE #2 for CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

Just wanted to post a follow up. I installed the ECM and hooked up the check engine light again in my Revolt. I took it out to the dunes and ran it for several hours without a problem.

Re: ECM UPDATE #2 for CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

Red Red Rock Rails read my ECU, to set the throttle position sensor yesterday. With the software we could see the hours the engine has been running. We wanted to see what the average speed was, so .....

1054 Odometer milage
-------------------------- = 40.538 average miles per hour
26 Hrs

Next time you're at your dealer, have them hook up their lap top and pull this information for you. It good to know when your ready for valve adjustments.

Hey you need to work on getting that average up. No more slowing down to take pictures on your trail rides. When you come down South next week we are going to boost your average at the Pinks and Sand Hollow.

Re: ECM UPDATE #2 for CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

Do you think it will clear up in time for Little Sahara Easter Weekend? Or will it be riding in the snow on top of the sand?

Re: ECM UPDATE #2 for CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

It's very common for it to snow on Easter. There's nothing like wet, cold sand to make your weekend!
Though, I have seen it snow overnight and in the 70's by noon too. Who knows?
