Oil tank doesn't come apart except for the orange top piece. Its very hard to get clean but it can be rinsed out. It is best to buy a new one and the same for the oil cooler. A radiator shop may be able to clean the cooler.

Re: Oil reservior

I had to do the same thing a couple months ago. I was able to get the tank cleaned out using a water & oil cleaning solution. I would fill the tank about half way and shake the tank to make sure the solution got into all the passages in the tank. I had to do it about 3-4 times before it came clean. Petrol may damage or degrade the plastic material that the tank is made.

I replaced the oil lines, because they are cheap. I tried flushing the cooler by pumping new cheap oil, in both directions, but was never able to get everything out. A radiator shop like Pilot mentioned would have more pressure so that might be worth a try. Might want to check on e-bay or SpeedWagon.
