New revolt won't start?!

I have a new 2010 revolt. I'm getting it ready to start. Changed the oil, battery and filled up gas. Now when I try to start it, it just cranks but doesn't turn on. I feel that the battery will die if I just keep trying to start it. Is there anything I need to do to start it? I tried pumping the gas pedal but nothing.
What needs to be done?
(Also is there a choke somewhere I can turn on?)

Re: New revolt won't start?!

There is no choke, it's fuel injected. There is an electric fuel pump under the seat, the seat needs to be removed to get at it. Possibly no power to the pump? Make sure all fuel lines are hooked up tightly as well. I'm sure others will have more suggestions.

Re: New revolt won't start?!

I removed the seat to change the battery but I think there is fuel flowing to the engine bc I played around with this thing in the picture and had a fuel leak from it but got it fixed up. ImageUploadedByOff-Road Forums1408672677.970647.jpg

Are you referring to the yellow? Or black?

He is talking about the yellow cap. I think you are not getting fuel up to the fuel rail from the fuel pump. Is your fuel pump running when you first turn on the ignition switch? If it is, you need to take the fuel line off of the fuel rail and put in a can and turn on the pump again to see if you have fuel coming out of it. If you do it should start after you put it back on the fuel rail. If you don't have fuel coming out of the hose you will have to suck fuel through the hose from the tank. This is a problem with the stock fuel pumps on the Redlines. They will not prime themselves after loosing their prime.

Re: New revolt won't start?!

Ok got her started by doing a few other things but now I just need to put gas in the shocks and one shock needs a new valve. Where do they sell these? I tried stores like NAPA but they don't have it

I'm thinking you are talking about the shrader valve on the shock. I get all my Fox shock parts from Poly Performance.

Re: New revolt won't start?!

Yea I guess that another name for it. Will it be hard to put the shocks back on if I take them off to go get them refilled?
