As per the Fox shox spec sheet the 10" shock has 260cc oil, the 12" shock has 300cc. The compression and rebound setup is etched on the blue ring on the shock. Should look like 35/45 on front and 75/85 on rear. The oil seeps and leeks over time, so as I said it would be a miracle if your oil level is not low. If it has never been changed it will look black with contaminants, should be light blue. You should change oil once a year. If you notice excessive leaking there is a seal kit you can replace that fixes that.
